How to unlock Gionee A1 Bootloader

These are the instructions on how to Unlock Gionee A1 Bootloader using the fastboot tools on Windows Computer.

Requirements: Your device should have atleast 20 percent or above battery to follow the instructions.

Step 1: Download and install Gionee A1 USB driver on your computer. If Gionee A1 USB drivers are already installed on your computer then skip this step.

Step 2: Now, you have to Enable USB Debugging on Your Gionee A1. To enable Developers Option: Open Settings > About Phone > Tap on the Built Number for 6-8 times until developers option is enabled.

Step 3: Now, Again Go Back to the Settings > Developers Option > Enable OEM unlocking and USB Debugging.

Step 4: Now, Power off your Gionee A1 Device.

Step 5: Connect your Gionee A1 Device to the computer.

Step 6: Download and install the Minimal ADB and fastboot tools on your computer.

Step 7: Once, Installation is completed Launch the Minimal ADB and fastboot tools.

Step 8: Now, you will be able to see the following command window.

Step 9: Now, in the command window type: Adb devices and press enter from the keyboard. You will be able to see the list of Android devices attached to the computer.

Step 10: Once the device gets detected, boot it into Fastboot by running the following command (press Enter after the command) adb reboot-bootloader

Step 11: Now, The phone should enter Fastboot (black screen with only fastboot written at the top or bottom)

Step 12: Now, run the bellow command why your phone still In Fastboot (press Enter after the command)

Step 13: In command, type fastboot oem unlock (press Enter after the command)

and) You should get a prompt on the device asking you to confirm Bootloader unlock, press the volume up button for Yes

Step 14: Now, You should now get a success message. Reboot the device by running this command fastboot reboot (press Enter after the command)


[*] Unlocking the Bootloader will delete your personal data, pictures, apps etc from your device. So, backup your personal data before following the above tutorial.
